Founder and Honorary Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah of the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation is a humanitarian activist who has constantly worked for sustainable world peace and mutual respect among all people. She is also a spiritual leader who has taught communities around the world, by example, how to help and take care of one another.
With the heart of a mother who regards all people as part of one big family living in a global village, she has lived a life of devotion, sharing and serving others, to protect women’s rights, create a society free of discrimination against the most vulnerable, and achieve international peace without wars.
With a mother’s heart, Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah has helped and taken care of many people around the world. It is anecdotally said, when a family lives in harmony, everything goes well. And it is believed that when people grow up, surrounded by love and support, they can be positive contributors in society. All this—the happiness and prosperity of individuals, families, societies, nations and humankind—is possible because of a mother’s love and support.
What our society needs most now is a mother’s love. A mother selflessly focuses all her care and love on her children to guide them to live a good, meaningful, and helpful life in society.
A mother is the greatest volunteer, educator, and leader. Because of all these attributes, people around the world refer to Chairwomen Zahng Gil-jah, who has selflessly given love and contributed to the wellbeing, harmony, and peace of society, as “Mother.”
Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah lives her life with a sense of duty to care and concern for the global village as a mother. Her heart leads her to infirm children, such as those with heart disease, those suffering from the aftermath of disasters, and those who have been marginalized in an inequitable society.
Her self-sacrifice to save those whose lives are at risk greatly inspires all who experience, see and hear of her work—in Korea and around the world. As a result, many have adopted her perspective in caring for others, communities, and the world.
The Chairwoman’s activities to help people suffering from illnesses, disasters, and poverty are carried out in 51 countries. In Asia and Africa, she coordinates water pump, supply and storage facility donations and installations, which become hope and life to those suffering from water shortages. Likewise, medication and daily necessities are delivered to victims of civil war in the Middle East. The Chairwoman will continue serving the global village with a mother’s love until we achieve happiness and peace in a world where no one is left behind.
