Currently, global warming and drastic climate change are causing many refugees in various parts of the world. Climate refugees are those who are suffering from climate disasters such as floods, droughts, and typhoons, losing their livelihood. It is reported that there are more than 40 million climate refugees in the world, and environmental groups predicted that the number will increase to one billion people in 30 years.

We are not acutely aware of climate change in our daily life. It may be because the realm of nature is too large to relate to our daily life, and that the realm of human life is too small and humble, compared with it. However, we should not turn our faces away from the fact that the number of people living hopelessly, losing their livelihood due to fluctuating climate, is rapidly increasing throughout the world.

It seems that their pain has nothing to do with our reality, but we cannot be completely free from their pain because we share the same environment. The current situation happening within the same fence named the global village may some day become our reality.
